BIOMETRICS FOR VISA APPLICATIONS
- With effect from April 28, 2014, visa applicants must have their biometrics (fingerprints and photograph of face) recorded when they hand in their applications at the BLS India Visa & Consular Services Center or at the Embassy of India, The Hague. Visa applications will not be processed until biometric data is received.
- All persons coming for recording their biometric data have to come physically for submission of their visa application, after getting online appointment from the designated service provider, BLS International.
- Fingerprints once recorded are valid for the next five years.
