The application for allotment of PAN can be made online either through the portal of National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) (https://www.tin-nsdl.com ) or portal of UTI Infrastructure Technology And Services Limited (UTIITSL) (http://www.utiitsl.co.in). For detailed procedure, guidelines, required documents andform(s) etc.  for PAN allotment, please refer to portals of NSDL/UTIITSL.

 

The Embassy of India shall attest supporting documents in this connection like Bank Statement/Certificate of Incorporation of the company etc., only if the company in question is incorporated in the Netherlands. The Embassy of India shall attest supporting documents in respect of PAN application by an individual only if the individual is based in the Netherlands. For this service, applicants have to apply in person only.

 

(A)  Requirements (For Companies):

        i.            A request letter for the service on Company letterhead with the seal of the company stamped on the Company letterhead. The request letter should be duly signed by one of the Directors of the Company and should be accompanied by a copy of the Certificate of Incorporation in respect of the company duly legalized from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

 

      ii.            All the supporting company documents should be duly legalized from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

 

    iii.            The supporting company documents should be submitted along with the valid original passport and self-attested copies of the passport pages containing personal particulars (or duly notarized copies of the passport pages containing personal particulars)of one of the Directors of the Company.Applications must be accompanied by the fee for the service, which is accepted by debit card (PIN). Cash is accepted as an exception if exact amount is tendered.

 

Fee: €62.00 (in respect of company documents) and €25.00 (in respect of non-company documents). (Please note that the fee is for each signature and stamp of the Consular Officer).

 

Processing Time: Two working days subject to documentation being in order.

 

(B)  Requirements (For Individuals):

 

        i.            Miscellaneous Application form dully filled in and signed by the applicant (for Miscellaneous Application Form, please visit the link ‘Forms for Consular Services’).

      ii.             

                              a.            In case of Indian nationals: Valid passport in original and self-attested copies of first two and last two pages of the passport and the page (s) containing Passport Officer's observation(s) (if any).

 

                              b.            In case of foreign nationals: Valid passport in original and self-attested copies of the passport pages containing personal particulars.

 

iii.        Proof of Residence: Any of the following self-attested documents viz. copy of utility bill (landline telephone bill/electricity bill/gas bill/water bill) or lease deed (of house) etc. where the applicant’s address is clearly mentioned, should be provided, OR Uittreksel from Gemeente where applicant’s address in the Netherlands is clearly mentioned should be provided.

 

iv.        Visa Status: Self-attested copy of passport page/Dutch Residence Permit Card showing the visa status should be enclosed.

 

Fee: €12.00 in case of Indian nationals. €25.00 in case of foreign nationals.Fee is payable by debit card (PIN). Cash is accepted as an exception if exact amount is tendered.

 

Processing Time: Two working days subject to documentation being in order.

 

Note: Apart from the general mandatory requirements mentioned above, applicant may be advised to submit additional documents, after scrutiny, on case to case basis.
